2023 in review
Look what you’ve achieved as a community
It’s been a busy year, full of collaboration, insight, and epic events. In between opportunities to mingle (our word of the year, thanks George), we accomplished more than we could ever have imagined…
Your 2023 wrapped
We’re so proud of what you as a community have achieved this year. More organisations and teams are supporting each other and making good use of what we offer to do more and do better every week.
This year, with our network growing by 35%, over 350 of you have come together under The Consultancy Growth Network umbrella.
You’ve embraced the opportunity to connect, with 43% more Slack interactions this year, meaning members are getting instant feedback from their peers to make faster decisions.
And your level of contribution has been phenomenal. Online workshop participation increased by 88% and in-person events grew by 26%. 2023 also saw a proliferation of member-initiated forums including a 60-strong female-founders group and a thriving new group focused on HR and People.
21 roundtables provided opportunities for members to discuss sector-specific opportunities and topics from B-Corp, HR and People to International Expansion. Testament to this success, we have seen more members than ever upgrade their memberships to involve their leadership teams and bring on future partners within their business.

Since launching Consultancy BenchPress in 2020, more than 600 consultancies have contributed to our benchmarking research. Consultancy BenchPress 2023 provided more data than ever, to make more great things happen. Total Negotiation used the insight to transform its sales culture to win a multi-million-pound new contract and launch a new referral strategy to expand within key accounts. Take note: BenchPress 2024 is just around the corner!
The Annual Summit in October was the biggest and the best so far, with 185 participants and outstanding feedback scores of 9.2. One attendee described it as ‘the most inspiring, insightful and fun business event I’ve ever attended’. A heartfelt thank you to everyone for making it so successful. Here is just a snapshot of more great feedback posted after the event:

2023 has not been an easy ride for everyone, but we’re in this together and always ready to talk (in fact, the community team spent more than 1400 hours on video calls with members doing just that!)

Thank you!
As a team, we would like to say a huge thank you for all your support since the network launched 4 years ago. With NPS consistently at 70%, 3000+ LinkedIn followers, five-star Google reviews, and welcoming George’s son Jude into the team, we couldn’t be prouder of everything we have achieved together. We’re also having a lot of fun along the way.
