The Consultancy Awards 2024: Inaugural consulting awards celebrations bring a splash of colour

The Consultancy Awards presentation and party held at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in London on 13 June 2024 was a resounding success!  

Over 200 industry leaders, influential growth experts, esteemed consulting guests and their clients gathered at this sold-out event to celebrate outstanding achievements and groundbreaking innovations in their industry. 

The evening kicked off with a sparkling drinks reception, where attendees, dressed in their party finery ‘with a splash of colour’, mingled, networked and celebrated away. 

As the presentation began, the audience was welcomed by business growth specialist Marc Jantzen, Founder and CEO of The Consultancy Growth Network, who set a high-energy, warm and encouraging tone for the event.  

The charismatic host, Guy Bloom, kept the crowd engaged with a blend of wit and professionalism, ensuring the event maintained a lively tempo and sharing exceptional success stories as he revealed the winners. 

Awards were presented in 12 categories, recognising excellence in strategic impact, digital and cultural transformation, leadership, collaboration and environmental and social impact.  

Each recipient expressed their genuine delight in winning an award, with one gold winner declaring “It’s such an honour to be finalists, let alone to have won it! It’s a significant milestone for us, and just the beginning. Everyone’s going to take a huge boost from this!”  

Notable winners included Fortify & Partners, a data management consultancy revolutionising water market solutions to create impressive ROI; Journey4, a customer transformation consultancy demonstrating an exemplary client-consulting relationship that has led to outstanding strategic impact; and Rise Beyond, an all-women leadership team at a collaboration consultancy dedicated to enabling better ways of being and working together while delivering significant year-on-year growth.

The event also featured a highly memorable keynote speech from Adrian Bettridge, Managing Partner at Baringa where Adrian shared his immense passion and pride in the consulting industry and the deserved recognition for “talented consultants who dedicate their lives to solving problems for other people”.

Amongst many highlights of the evening was a sneak peek into future projects of promising companies – the ‘ones to watch’ in future years, and the announcement of the Champion of the Network Award, which went to Matt Atkinson, an inspirational leader whose contributions have significantly shaped the consulting community.  

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a lavish buffet, while a live saxophonist provided a vibrant soundtrack for the evening.  

Overall, the inaugural Consultancy Awards presentation and party was a resounding success, celebrating achievements, fostering connections, and inspiring all in attendance, from business owners to their teams and their clients. An opportunity to celebrate hard work and dedication in a tough time for growing consulting firms. 

It was a night to remember, highlighting the best of what the consulting industry has to offer and setting a high bar for future events. In the words of one of the winners, “The Consulting Awards are fantastic recognition for the team and our clients, to celebrate the journey we’ve been on together. Consulting has such an important role to play in solving the world’s problems, it needs to be celebrated!”
