Your 2024 wrapped

January 2025 marks five years since we launched The Consultancy Growth Network with just eight members. Today, we have grown into a thriving community that has helped hundreds of consultancies to succeed.  

Known for our warmth, generosity and commitment to sharing knowledge, we support one another in ways that deeply impact our collective success. 

Here’s our 2024 recap to show you how far we’ve come! 

An expanding expert panel. In 2024 we welcomed three new Growth Experts: Alex Klein, Susan Lohr and Raja Pagadala.

M&A advisory. We launched our M&A partner network, which is made up of specialist firms who are experts in advising companies on the complex processes of planning for exit. Many of our members who exited this year are continuing to get value from their membership. 

400+ individual members. In 2024, 45% of our members upgraded their membership so that their senior leadership teams can access The Network, beyond owners and founders. 

Brilliant mutual support. We ran 10 online workshops, 4 in-person events and 30 member roundtables. Over 100 people attended member-initiated forums, with 3 new regular groups formed in response to member requests. The feedback for our Annual Summit in October says it all:

Exceptional NPS. Our members have given us a score of 74. This is outstanding for our industry and our highest score since we started five years ago. 

Better insights. Our Growth Hub member-only portal grew further this year, with a third more insights on the topics our members asked for, from AI, to B Corp, to case studies on how to exit.  

Biggest ever Consultancy BenchPress. Our biggest annual benchmarking survey received nearly 300 responses and we produced a 54-page report on the results, packed with insights. Our members now have access to five years of invaluable research data about boutique consultancies. 

The Consultancy Awards launched with a bang. 12 categories and 200 attendees at the awards presentation event allowed consultancies to shine. Special mention to Matt Atkinson at Waymark, who was the outstanding winner of the Membership Community Award. 

Brand new training. We now offer three training programmes: consulting skills, high performance sales habits and leadership fundamentals. AI training and others are coming in 2025. 

More tools and assessments. 11 maturity assessments are now available to members for each stage of their individual roadmaps, including marketing, leadership & culture and value proposition. Over 300 sales assessments have been completed alone!

Your success

Many of our members are growing, selling successfully, setting up partnerships, becoming B Corps and winning awards. 

We are so proud to have helped drive the growth of multiple member companies across 2024. B Corp statuses, exponential revenue increases, and significant business growth have been achieved. We are delighted to say that several have achieved the exit strategy they wanted and won national/international awards. It is incredibly fulfilling when members attribute significant elements of their development and growth to their TCGN membership.

We had a blast

It’s been a busy year for the team at The Consultancy Growth Network. Oli joined the family, George celebrated his fifth anniversary with us, Charlotte got married and Luke competed in his first Cross Fit competition. We also threw ourselves into our team building days, from pizza making and the longest game of Kubb ever, to shooting (George won), bowling (Luke won), laser tag (James won) and escape rooms (the team won – because of Charlotte!). 


Bring on 2025

We’re buzzing with plans for next year, including more exit support, capability sprints to support our members in implementing what they learn, focused events to help build your sales pipeline, new training and an even bigger awards programme already underway.  

As our founder Marc Jantzen says, “When we discussed our plans for 2024 12 months ago it was to be a year of consolidation. This round-up demonstrates it’s been much more than that. It’s been amazing to hear how members are progressing towards their goals and it is a privilege to be part of that journey. Here’s to an exciting 2025!”
